Description: META] Rules about private servers ? This is my first comment. It looks amazing. I have a question to ask about private servers, so I checked the rule if it was allowed, and it says "Links and information about private servers" aren't allowed. Is it only server advertising, or are all kinds of discussion about them unallowed ? wow private server club You can also delete this post if you need it. It's not a problem, as I knew it would be controversial when I wrote it. Recent changes to the rules have been made. They can be discussed, but not named or linked to. I believe it's also forbidden to encourage other people to use them. Since when is it okay to discuss illegal activities with others? Private servers are running stolen software, which is illegal here in the United States. It's not just that Blizzard won't allow it, but the United States government also doesn't allow this. You can be sued for running a private server, and you could technically be sued for playing on one, too, if Blizzard felt so inclined. So why do we allow this scum on our servers?
