Description: I found a solution for "my" Minecraft desktop apps not opening. It's because my launcher profiles are corrupted. So it works again after I deleted them. Open the ".minecraft” folder by searching Windows for %appdata% Find the file called "launcher_profiles.json" and delete it. After this, you need to install all your previous profiles manually. I hope you find this helpful. If you don't have the option to uninstall Minecraft, go to programs. Then delete the ".minecraft" folder. Finally, download Minecraft and install it again.
