Description: Minetest, the Minecraft-like voxel game engine (and a basic game that comes with it) has a big new version out with Minetest 5.4.0 and it's worth a second try. As we've stated during the release Candidate stage of the release, this release makes it easier to modify small mod packs, as well as entire games. Minetest was able to browse and download them all directly within the game for a while however, it now will also download all the dependencies mods require - making it much easier to get the mod you want and then into the game. It's no more necessary to download a single mod and then search for all the parts it requires. A few tweaks were made to the built-in game "Minetest Game". Although it's not much in its own, it can serve as a nice base to show off the engine and to extend by adding modifications. With Minetest 5.4.0 it now comes with crafting guides, 5 more wood variants and environmental sounds for lava and active furnaces, as well as new translations and multiple bug fixes. It continues to build on the gradual and steady progress into something a bit bigger out of the box. minecraft servers list Other options include the ability to alter the cross-hair whenever you point at objects the ability to freely bind mouse buttons and name tags for players now have transparent backgrounds, a caverns feature to create flat maps and the 'place’ and 'fig keys are easily set up.
